push from Regency.
Wella stages the style showdown each year, including a Young Talent

in advance of the global event - choosing two students
to get extra help at Regency headquarters polishing their entries for the competition.
Regency Primaries finalist Jacqueline Main works on her model and fellow Regency student, Demitria Floyd.
Casey Keel of the
Metro Center campus in Phoenix and Jacqueline Main of the
Aurora-Naperville campus in Illinois brought their models
to Minneapolis where they worked with a pro makeup artist and Regency experts. A
fashion photographer snapped hundreds of glamour shots for Casey and
Jacqueline's contest entries.
"This event takes a network of people to make a single look. It's a team effort," said Linda Schoenberg, Regency technical director.
and the rest of the Regency team await the next steps: mid-September's

Regency finalist Casey Keel fine-tunes her work on model Krystin Mullins.
"This is an amazing
opportunity for the winners and contenders to be sought after in all
avenues within this industry, before even having a license. It showcases
ability and their overall design creativity and vision," Linda said.
Added Casey: "Making
it this far makes me feel like I've accomplished so much already. To go
even further would be amazing. It'll challenge me, inspire me as an
artist - and I'm going to enjoy every minute."

Besides Casey and
Jacqueline, hundreds of students sent entries for the Regency primaries

As a Regency student, you'll get your first chance to beautify
real salon guests. And you'll get started on the right foot, learning how to
delight customers and keep them coming back to your chair. Hear the high praise Regency guests
have for their stylists:
I went to your Avon campus for a permanent wave design wrap, and I love my hair
now! Not only does my hair look good, but I also feel good. This was my first
experience at a beauty school, and I was nervous. Immediately upon arrival, the
student and the great atmosphere made me very comfortable. Taylor Johnson was
my stylist and Mr. Dexter was her instructor who was watching over
her, and I think they are both awesome! She would not be the talented
stylist she is without his valuable input. They were also very personable. My
hair even looked good when I woke up this morning! Thank you so
much! Happy Customer, Debra Plunkett."
Minnesota: "A big thank-you to Kalea, [who] did my hair this
past Monday and my toes today! You rock, girl! See ya in about four weeks for
another great hair style!!!!" said Sue Jambor after her service at the
Blaine campus. Added Ridgedale guest Jaclyn Heim: "The people at Regency

After having her hair done at the Fairview Heights campus, guest Kim Sides was so happy with the results that she sent the campus the above photo with words of thanks for the student.
