People are Talking about Regency's Graduates!
When you're comparing beauty schools, it's easy to get overwhelmed with different curriculums, programs, incentives, and statistics. It's a good idea to just catch your breath and think about your future beyond school. It's everyone's goal to graduate and find a good job, right? The reputation and relationships that a beauty school has with industry employers are important things to consider. Here's what a few of Regency's Salon Partners have to say about Regency's graduates!
"Regency, by far, does the most recruiting, job fairs, fashion shows, and outreach for their students. The stylists that I have employed from Regency have excelled very quickly and were ready to hit the floor running on their first day - this is not the norm from most beauty schools. One of the graduates that I hired, has grown her client base so fast in the last four years that she is now the proud owner of her own salon. Congratulations Regency for a job well done!" ~ Dan and Erin Nystrom, Owners, Shear Madness Zona Rosa
"We are truly proud to partner with such a driven, supportive, educational institute. From the career fairs, to the opportunity for us to come in and share our opportunities with the students, our future professionals of the cosmetology industry. We think of Regency Beauty Institute first when Sport Clips friends and family are considering an education and a career in the cosmetology field." ~ Laurie Guzman, Sales & Marketing Director, Sport Clips of TN
"As a salon manager, I have employed multiple Regency graduates, all of which have proven to possess not only the necessary technical skills, but also a superior sense of professionalism, and a strong competitive edge!" ~ Amber Cornell , Salon Manager, Sport Clips, Olathe, KS
"I have been extremely impressed with the level of student graduating from Regency Beauty Institute. They seem to have an energy and passion for the industry they are entering and an understanding of the hard work it is." ~Carla Fryan, Salon Owner, Great Clips, Inc. |

Your Facebook Photo Contest Winners
With 173 entries and over 700 votes, our 2nd Annual Facebook Extreme Makeover: Regency Edition contest was amazing! The entries were narrowed down to the Top Five by a judging panel made up of educators and cosmetologists. From there, Facebook fans voted to determine the first and second place winners. So without further ado, we present your contest winners!
First Place Winner: Mary Troka, Greenfield Campus
Regency: What was your background before you came to
Regency?
Mary: I am a Mom to my three awesome children and a Customer Service
Representative for a Collision Repair Facility.
Regency: Why did you want to become a Cosmetologist?
Mary: Cosmetology has always been one of my interests since childhood, and I couldn't possibly be more thrilled that I'm actually becoming a cosmetologist now!
Regency: Were you surprised that you did so well in the contest?
Mary: Surprised doesn't even begin to describe it! There was so much talent in this contest it was intimidating to say the least. I was overwhelmed by everyone's support, encouragement, wonderful comments, and of course votes!
Regency: Where do you want your career to take you?
Mary: Working towards my Managers' License is the next logical step. However, as I get closer to my graduation, I am discovering the many possibilities this career has to offer me - so I am keeping my options open!
Second Place Winner: Stephanie Critchley (Facebook user name Stefani Carol), Toledo campus

Regency: What was your background before you came to Regency?
Stephanie: When I was a little girl, instead of playing with dolls I was playing with my sister's hair and makeup. Word spread over the years and before I knew it, I was being asked to do other people's hair and makeup. I fell in love with seeing people smile after they got a makeover.
Regency: What was your inspiration for the Facebook contest?
Stephanie: My inspiration was my sister. She has these gorgeous blue-green eyes. She has been blonde for a while but I thought a violet/red would make her eyes really pop!
Regency: Where do you want your career to take you?
Stephanie: I would love to travel and do freelance work for print and film. Starting a salon/school and mentoring other aspiring artists has also been a dream of mine. The beauty industry is a powerful industry and if we can transform others from the inside as well as the outside, we can bring so much life and love to those around us!
