Understand the business of beauty – including salon ownership

As a successful cosmetologist, you’ll need to think and act like a business owner. Whether or not you own your own salon, the ability to set goals, think critically, and make smart decisions will be crucial to your career. That’s why Regency’s program includes a business building component, which gives you a chance to dip your toe in the waters of the day-to-day business of salons.

Students learn about compensation, salon operations, relationship building, and other topics that will help make you a competitive player in your salon. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a business plan and create the salon you’ve always dreamed of owning or working in. You’ll learn how to maintain professionalism and build relationships. Armed with well-developed business skills and a stellar cosmetology education, you’ll be unstoppable!
