Definition:
Chemistry is the study of substances (chemical compounds) and the interactions (chemical reactions) that occur between them. An example of a common chemical compound is the chlorine found in bleach, and a common chemical reaction is the change in color when the chlorine in bleach changes the color of fabric to which it is applied.
